The primary goal of the Internationals and Immigrants Affinity Group is to build a strong sense of community, belonging and support for department members who are international or immigrant—whether you're on a temporary visa or green card, and whether you're a student, postdoc, faculty, staff, or any other role.
This group aims to foster mentorship, enhance the sharing of resources and opportunities, promote cultural appreciation, and improve the overall experience for international and immigrant members. Toward this end, we hold monthly social events, and are putting together a growing list of community-driven resources.
